Because of public health measures and school closures implemented in response to COVID-19, Civics First regrets to announce that the following events are postponed indefinitely:
Middle School Mock Trial Playoffs scheduled for March 26 and April 1, 2020.
High School Mock Trial Finals scheduled for March 30, 2020.
High School Debate Competition scheduled for March 30, 2020.
We are saddened by the potential loss of these valuable educational opportunities, given the hundreds of hours expended by our students and faculty in preparing for them. We will monitor evolving conditions and announce whether these events will be rescheduled. The Middle School Debate Competition remains scheduled for May 12, 2020, and will go forward on that date should circumstances permit.
